Alex Comeau - Alderman-Elect
Nashua NH - Ward 6
I Want To Serve the People of Nashua
For 15 years I've lived in Nashua raising two beautiful children. As a struggling single parent, I knew what it was like to face housing uncertainty, what it was like to wonder how you're going to be able to afford groceries each week, to wonder if my children would be safe walking down the street.
Through a lot of hard work, patience, and sacrifice, I've lifted myself out of poverty and now I want to help make Nashua the best it can be. I want to make sure there are enough affordable places to live for everyone who wants to call Nashua home. I want to make sure our city is spending its money wisely so that Nashua residents can keep more of what they earn. I want to support our nationally accredited police department that keeps us safe. I want to support our schools, fix our broken roads, and make Nashua a great place to live.
I humbly ask for your vote on November 2nd. Here in Ward 6 we vote at Fairgrounds Middle School (27 Cleveland St.). If you're not registered in Ward 6 because you've either never voted before or you're new to town, you can still register at the polls. Existing registered voters can update their information until Oct. 23rd via the City Clerk at City Hall.
I thank you for your support and look forward to serving all of my friends and neighbors as your Alderman for Nashua's Ward 6.
I Thank Alderwoman Elizabeth Lu For Her Support and Endorsement
I thank Alderwoman Elizabeth Lu for her service to the city of Nashua during her term as Alderwoman for Nashua's Ward 6.  Her support of my campaign is a reflection of the independent, non-partisan nature of us both.
Like Alderwoman Lu, I don't believe that "Party Politics" has any place in local municipal government.  Many of the issues of major importance to Nashua citizens have nothing to do with Left or Right, Liberal or Conservative, Democrat or Republican.
There are many issues that everyone should be able to agree on; such as making sure we support our high-quality schools, improving our roadways and sidewalks, developing our downtown identity, improving infrastructure, and supporting our city employees; police, fire, teachers, DPW, and more.
I look forward to tackling these issues with the best interest of Ward 6 in mind.  City Hall is no place for party agendas.  I will support good ideas and oppose bad ones, regardless of where the ideas originated or by whom they were proposed.
